This one outperforms all competition in phase noise and brutally kills Agilents in danl ! And it has a 4 GHz preamp so the danls even better than that up to 4 GHz! Agilents and rohdes do that better but at the expense of phase noise and danl performance.. these also blow the viavis and all the other imitators out of the water in every type \u003cb\u003eof performance possible .\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \n   \u003cbr\u003e \n   \u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eThere are some typical minor unwanted\u003c\/b\u003e mixing elements called residuals at certain frequencies like on all rohdes and agilents and viavis etc... but they're rare and usually low from the carrier so you learn how to discern from them and not notice them. But that's what you get when using a tiny and less filtered design.theres no way around that really. The performance won't be nearly as good as a 856xe or Rohde fsem  series but those things have 15 times the rf circuitry so what can you expect?\u003c\/p\u003e \n   \u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;\"\u003eFor the weight and size and convenience of a 3 hour battery cycle you can't go wrong with anritsu! It's a massive step up from a Rohde.
