With built in 6.1 GHz tracking generator and variable  powered cw source ( from -30 DB to +7 db)and much more precise compared to viavis (2khz more precise!) the source can be on while the spectrum analyzer is running so it makes troubleshooting test equipment systems a breeze when you need to substitute a signal into a chain and then have the signal come out of a network and back into the spectrum analyzer to monitor etc... the uses are unlimited!!! And they make it so dang easy for ya!

Also includes 6.1 GHz preamp for the spectrum analyzer  which is an absolute must as the danl isn't super impressive without it.

It's going to take some time to go into all the options and how cool and handy they all are but this being portable battery powered  and lasts 4 hours, It works amazing as a USB power meter!!! Agilent has a bunch to choose  from ! Just plug it in and you got yourself a super nice portable meter that's 100 times easier to read than your poor old e4419b !!It's so convenient you'll love it for sure! It beats out all rivalling power meters  hands down!  And it's so easy to bring around the lab!

Quick cal 111 makes calibrating a breeze! No more open short loads! It really simplifies things and saves a ton of time!

Unit works excellent and is super accurate and flat across the whole span  !

Last calibrated in mid 2023 but we will recalibrate it before it ships with a 2 yr interval cert and sticker nist traceable.

, .currently the tracking generator and cw source as well as vna source output puts out about +5 dbm on avg. As it should be exactly on point.

The display is excellent as well and looks the best in its class for viewing angles and contrast where Agilent has always beat out all competitors in that field ! With the exception of the original early LCDs or: e4419b and e8257 series..

Since then all their LCDs have been industry cutting edge performance like on the 8565ec,mxa,  n5182B etc....

Battery is like new. It lasts 3-4 hrs depending on use. And has a very nice standby function to boot!!! Pun intended ;)

For the weight and size and convenience of a 4 hour battery cycle you can't go wrong with this version of  Agilent handheld line. It's a massive step up from the cheaper Agilent type(cn models)  . )
